Your role as Sales Controller

Nedschroef's sales organization comprises our Director of Sales, Account Directors, (Global) Account Managers, Sales Controller, Executive Assistant, and the Internal Sales team. As the Sales Controller, you will directly report to the Sales Director and functionally to the Finance Director. The Sales Controller serves as the interface between Sales and Finance and is involved in strategic sales processes with the aim of improving profitability through these three core processes:

  • Sales Strategy: Overseeing the customer strategy process.
  • Controlling: Establishing a foundation for fact-based negotiations through data analysis harmonization and digitalization and ensuring alignment between budget, strategy, and business plan.
  • Sales Project Management: Monitoring and overseeing all relevant sales projects.

Key activities and responsibilities include:

  • Developing and monitoring the sales budget and forecast in collaboration with the entire sales organization.
  • Preparing market analysis and a strategic sales plan.
  • Preparing input for the monthly financial reporting and aligning with local business partners.
  • Preparing sales and market input for board and board of directors presentations.

Your profile

As a Sales Controller, you are expected to have a deep understanding of business processes and the underlying motivations. You will be in contact with various departments within the organization, making strong communication and analytical skills essential. Furthermore, you are characterized by determination, a results-oriented focus, and an active approach to initiating projects. Your profile should align with the following:

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, International Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an international manufacturing environment or as part of a management consulting firm.
  • You possess knowledge and experience with BI tools, Excel, and data analysis.
  • You have a strong personality with the ability to influence and get things done.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
